OBJECTIVE
The Standby Generator supplied power to twenty-one (21) pieces of critical production equipment.
HIGHLIGHTS
The project supplied power to twenty-one (21) critical pieces of production equipment. The equipment was distributed throughout the plant with a majority of the existing motors starters concentrated in two (2) Motor Control Center (MCC) rooms. A new Standby MCC was installed for the power feeders while utilizing the existing motor feeder’s conduit and wiring. The project scope included general demolition, civil site work, generator concrete foundation, the construction of new a MCC room, the installation of a new Transfer Switch, and a new standby power panel.
RESULTS
The project was completed on schedule and on budget enabling the client facility to maintain its operating schedule.
